Defender David Buchanan will be added to the Hamilton squad for their Co-operative Insurance Cup second-round tie away to Raith Rovers.

Skipper Alex Neil continues his recovery from a hip operation while Mark McLaughlin (ankle) and David Elebert (hamstring) remain sidelined.

James Gibson is still out as he recovers from a cruciate ligament operation.
