Manager Billy Reid insists his hard-working Hamilton were the better side after surrendering a lead to draw 1-1 with Aberdeen in the league."In the first 45 minutes, we completely controlled the game," said Reid. "I thought we were miles better at passing the ball, but we didn't create enough.
"Aberdeen looked good for 10 minutes in the second half, they stepped up a gear and caused us a few problems.
"That disappoints me, but in terms of how we played, I was delighted."
Zander Diamond's 76th-minute strike cancelled out Flavio Paixao's header for Hamilton in the 53rd minute to rescue a point for Mark McGhee's Dons, but Reid felt his side outplayed the visitors for most of the match and probably deserved the win.
Over the 90 minutes, we were easily the better team. We should have taken three points

"We switched off at the set-piece, and that was the disappointing thing," said Reid.
"After that, I thought there was only going to be one winner.
"We had some excellent chances, but we didn't take them and the boys are gutted.
"Over the 90 minutes, we were easily the better team. We should have taken three points."
