Reid hails deserved win.

Hamilton boss Billy Reid was thrilled to see his side move off the bottom of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League table with a 2-0 victory over Dundee United. Portuguese twins Marco and Flavio Paixao were both on the scoresheet as Accies picked up their first away win over United since 1989. Reid felt his side, who ended a nine-match winless run with the victory, were deserving winners over a United team that created little in the final third. He said: "I thought we started well and controlled the first 45 minutes. We passed the ball really well, created our chances and scored two good goals. "I thought we were worthy of that at half-time. We knew United would come out fighting in the second half but I thought we contained that fairly well. I think over the 90 minutes the best team won."
